I am an experienced educator who holds a dual certification in Elementary Education and Special Education from Monmouth University, West Long Branch, NJ. Most recently I worked as a 3rd grade teacher at St. Rose Grammar School in Belmar, where I taught for the past five years. Previously, I spent four years at Farmingdale Public School, where I taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and Resource Room.
My early childhood teaching experience also includes seven years of preschool instruction in Little Silver and Freehold. In addition to my classroom experience, I spent six years as a Paraprofessional in the Long Branch Public Schools, supporting student learning and development. I also held a key role at Monmouth University for seven years as the Coordinator of Peer Tutoring Services and a member of the Placement Testing Team. In that capacity, I provided academic support to students across various subjects, coordinated placement testing logistics, and worked closely with Disability Services to ensure appropriate accommodations for students with diverse needs.
What I love most about teaching is the opportunity to make meaningful connections with my students, watch their confidence grow, and help them discover their unique strengths and potential.
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. I love walking, am an avid reader, and also enjoy cooking, baking and sketching.
