Hi all, my name is Ilana Akselrud and I am a highschooler. I love working at Beacon Prep and Smart Stars Academy, because it builds confidence, character, and leadership skills as my personality develops as I get older. I attended Beacon when I was younger and it has really shaped me into the person I am today. Now, I play sports, speak multiple languages, and do ROTC and several AP classes… all as a freshman. This is all thanks to Beacon & Smart Stars! I am thrilled to now be a part of the BPA & SSAII team, working with the younger students!
